i'm baaaack...

*Brushes cobwebs off site*

Uh, yeah. Not dead, although I was wishing for death at times. Salmonella peanut butter will do that to ya. And a broken foot, and a flare of the Crohn's, and pneumonia. At least I caught up on some quality sleep.

Anyway, I'm back in the saddle now, and have a new addition to The Oubliette - a webcomic. Starting Friday, June 1, I will be posting a comic on a M-W-F schedule. It will feature the lives of the cats of the Oubliette, and probably some occasional randomness. This is a project I've been kicking around for a year now and started work on it a few weeks ago. I hope you enjoy it. I'd be lying if I said that I didn't care if anyone liked it or not (any artist who says that is a friggin' liar), but I will post for 2 months before deciding whether or not to continue subjecting the interweb to my Photoshop skills.

Let's see, other news... Started writing a novel based on my experience in EMS. Still outlining the book. Excerpts may end up on here eventually.

Does waiting for my Amazon.com order count as news? No? Oh, well. It's getting covered anyway.

Hopefully my order will arrive Friday afternoon. It left the USPS center in Atlanta at something like 0030 Thursday, and it shouldn't take that long to arrive here in Huntsville. Yes, I am impatient. I need my Dresden Files novels. I bought the first one last week and read it in about 24 hours. So now I have to have the rest of the paperbacks.

I did wonder why the TV series sounded so familiar when it ran on Sci-Fi Channel over the winter. Amazon.com had been trying to get me to buy them for almost 2 years before the series started. I don't remember exactly what purchase made Amazon's computers decide I'd like the books, but I guess I should pay more attention to the suggestions. Now to see how long I can draw out reading 7 books. Probably about 14 days.

Oh, yeah. Whole lot goin' on around here.
