aquarium life continues
There are still baby White Cloud Mountain Minnows in my aquarium. I'm glad that I did not purchase any other fish species, which might have found them to be rather tasty little treats. The adult White Cloud Minnows do not seem interested in eating their own offspring, and the elderly Otocinclus fortunately is a vegetarian, interested only in algae and the occasional cucumber slice. The Pygmy Cory stays to the bottom of the tank, while the fry hide in the vegetation nearer the top of the tank, so hopefully they will grow up to become large enough to join the school of Minnows.
